Oxygen Therapies

woman on rockOxygen therapy comprises a number of closely related therapies that seek to promote healing and better health by flooding the body with oxygen. It is a whole-body treatment that detoxifies the body while stimulating the immune system.

Oxygen therapies are beneficial for poor concentration, exhaustion, sleeping disorders, chronic fatigue, burnout syndrome, jetlag, circulation disorders, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, tinnitus, bronchitis, chronic sinusitis, diabetes mellitus, fibromyalgia, rheumatic diseases, acute and chronic pains, metabolic disorders of the liver, hormonal imbalances, allergies, skin diseases, visual disturbances, and diseases of "old age."

Ozone Therapy

o2Many scientists and doctors believe that many health difficulties are caused by a lack of oxygen. Healthy cells are aerobic, which means they need oxygen to survive. Unhealthy cells, bacteria and viruses are anaerobic, which means they can only survive in the absence of oxygen.

Ozone is a naturally occurring component of fresh air. It can be produced by the ultraviolet rays of the sun in the Earth’s upper atmosphere (which creates the protective ozone layer), or it can be created artificially with an ozone generator.

o3An ozone molecule contains three oxygen atoms, as compared to an oxygen molecule that only contains two. Since ozone is a very reactive and unstable gas with a short half-life before it reverts back to oxygen, ozone is the most powerful and rapid oxidizer humans can produce. It can oxidize any bacteria, mold and yeast spores, organic material, and viruses.

Ozone Bagging is a process by which ozone and oxygen are pumped into an airtight bag that surrounds the area to be treated, allowing the body tissues to absorb the mixture.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber

oxygen valveThis treatment provides intermittent treatment of the entire body with 100-percent-pure oxygen at greater than normal atmospheric pressures—ultimately enhancing the body’s natural ability to heal.

Patients that may benefit from this therapy are those that might suffer from various diseases or injuries associated with hypoxia or a lack of oxygen on a cellular level. It is at this cellular tissue level where all life takes place.

Oxidative Therapy with H2O2

drip bagAlthough it is a natural substance made in the body, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is still considered a drug when used in oxidative therapy. This therapy adds weak yet very pure hydrogen peroxide to a sugar or salt-water solution—the same used for intravenous feeding in hospitals. This is slowly injected in doses from 50–500 mL into a large vein (usually in the arm) over a period of 1–3 hours, depending on the amount given and the condition of the patient.

This can also be combined with Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation to maximize Oxidative Therapy.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation

pathogenOver the last few decades, it has been scientifically determined that ultraviolet light of various wavelengths have been incredibly effective in destroying blood-borne pathogens, while also heightening the body’s own immune system. Recent technological innovations in electronics, bulbs and lasers—coupled with developments in photoactive substances—have brought this technology to a breakthrough level.

In Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation therapy, a small amount of blood (from 60–250cc) is drawn from the body, passed through a chamber, “treated” with ultraviolet light and returned to the body.

Oxygen Bar

man getting oxygenSit and relax while your lungs are filled with energizing oxygen and healing aromas that detoxify, refresh and awaken.

Normally, the air we breathe contains 21 percent oxygen...the remainder contains nitrogen, argon and other trace elements. Our Oxygen Bar offers between 90–92-percent oxygenation. Sessions include oxygen infused with various fragrances and aromatherapies, administered through small nose cannules.
