Intravenous Infusions

iv dripIntravenous (IV) administration of nutrients can achieve serum concentrations that are not obtainable with either oral or intramuscular administration.

When taking vitamin supplements orally, the body has limited capability in terms of overall metabolism. When supplements are ingested into the stomach and digestive tract, the liver does not have enough time to metabolize all the vitamins before the body removes them from the system. As a result, most of the supplements are flushed out of the body before they can be of benefit. For example, oral doses of vitamin C greater than 2 grams can cause diarrhea, while there is no reaction to IV doses as high as 25 grams.

Specialty Infusions

uvbiUltraviolet Blood Irradiation

The Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation process draws blood from a vein into a sterile enclosed tube. While flowing through the tube, the blood passes through an ultraviolet light (photoluminescence) into a 60cc syringe. The treated blood is then returned back through the same tube into the vein. All equipment is sterile and is disposed of after each use.

Benefits of this treatment can include increased blood oxygen, enhanced immune system function, deactivated blood-borne infectious viruses and bacteria, and elimination of non-critical fungal and bacterial growth. This treatment can produce a rapid detoxification.

Along with treating viral and bacterial infections, Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation is also beneficial for a variety of other conditions such as poor circulation, low blood counts, allergies, diabetes and cancer-adjunctive conditions. Furthermore, it has anti-inflammatory properties, making it an effective treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, autoimmune disorders and fibromyalgia.

Asthma Infusion

This is especially effective for sulfur-sensitive individuals and other asthmatics.

Macular Infusion

This infusion is formulated to enhance visual faculties in people that suffer from macular degeneration.

Glutathione Infusion

This infusion supports brain tissue and prompts liver detoxification, and is also used to treat a variety of neurological disorders.

C+MC: Vitamin C and Cesium

This infusion is used for severe, chronic acidotic situations such as cancer.

Vitamin C and Cesium are highly effective in increasing the alkalinity of the entire system, which is especially important in cancer treatments where intracellular levels are highly acidic. Vitamin C and Cesium are two of only five substances that are reported to be easily permeable through a cell membrane of a cancer cell.

Lipoic Acid +MC2

This infusion treats hepatic failure, cirrhosis, hepatitis, and overall improvement in hepatic function. It is highly effective in normalizing liver function and improving its status. German case studies have reported success in “rebuilding” livers.

PALT: Proline, Arginine, Tyrosine

This intravenous combination includes amino acids that have been shown to be beneficial with preventing uncontrolled cellular proliferation by inducing matrix metalloproteinase inhibitors.

PTC: Phosphatidyl Choline

Used to treat a variety of neurological disorders, this infusion supports brain tissue and prompts liver detoxification.

Treatment for a variety of infections such as upper respiratory and sinus infections, as well as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, this infusion is also effective for healing gangrenous tissue.

Chelation

blood cellsEDTA Chelation

Beneficial for age-related heart and vascular disorders such as atherosclerotic vascular disease, peripheral vascular disease, hypertension and angina, this treatment is also helpful for treating diabetes, macular degeneration, arthritis and osteoporosis.

DMPS Chelation

This treatment prompts the release of harmful toxins within the body, especially mercury, lead and other heavy metals.

Challenge Test Chelation

Both EDTA and DMPS are usually given as a diagnostic procedure for heavy metal detection, but also can be used as a detoxification therapy.

Nutritional Infusions

nutritional infusionVitamin C Infusion

Ascorbic acid is the water-soluble form of vitamin C. It is considered a potent antioxidant, and studies suggest that this nutrient may assist in the prevention of early death from heart disease and cancer.

Along with its antioxidant benefits, ascorbic acid plays a primary role in collagen formation, which is essential for the growth and repair of tissue cells, gums, blood vessels, bones and teeth. Older people and smokers have a much greater need for this vitamin than younger individuals.

Myers' Cocktail

The late Dr. John Myers, MD used an intravenous vitamin-and-mineral formula for the treatment of a wide range of clinical conditions. “Myers’ Cocktail” consists of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins, and vitamin C, and has been found to be effective against acute asthma attacks, migraines, fatigue (including chronic fatigue syndrome), fibromyalgia, acute muscle spasm, upper respiratory tract infections, chronic sinusitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis, cardiovascular disease, and other disorders.

Mineral Infusion

Maintaining mineral balance is essential to good health. Minerals and trace minerals are an essential factor in the proper function and structure of all living cells. Similar to vitamins, minerals function as coenzymes that promote bodily performance, energy, growth and healing.

Amino Acid Infusion

Amino acids are the "building blocks" of the body. Along with building cells and repairing tissue, they form antibodies that combat invading bacteria and viruses, are part of the enzyme and hormonal system, build nucleoproteins (RNA and DNA), carry oxygen throughout the body, and participate in muscle activity.

When protein is broken down by digestion, 22 known amino acids remain. Eight are essential, meaning that they cannot be manufactured by the body. The rest are non-essential, meaning that they can be manufactured by the body, but only with proper nutrition.

This infusion treats malabsorption and gastrointestinal disorders and also can benefit patients that suffer from tissue wasting, depression and addiction.
